Ovex is one of a group of medicines called “anthelmintics”, which are used to treat worm infections.
Ovex Tablets are specifically for the treatment of threadworm. Whereas a single dose of Ovex will kill threadworms, it may not destroy their eggs, which can cause re-infection and also infect other people. It is therefore strongly recommended that all members of the family (except pregnant and breast feeding women and children under two) are treated at the same time and that precautions are taken to prevent re-infection. This family pack contains 4 tablets. Ingredients Contains ingredients: Each pale orange tablet contains 100 mg mebendazole. The tablets also contain the following ingredients: microcrystalline cellulose, sodium starch glycolate, talc, maize starch, sodium saccharin, magnesium stearate, hydrogenated vegetable oil, orange flavour, colloidal anhydrous silica, sodium lauryl sulphate, orange yellow S (E110). Contains active ingredients: Mebendazole Warnings If you give or take too many, talk to a doctor straight away. Take your medicine with you.
